The rooms are so clean and spacious, you feel like you have your own little home for the weekend. Gunther took us on an afternoon game drive which was incredible, we got so close to the animals and we learnt so much, Gunther knows everything about every animal. We had a wonderful bush break, a very short distance from Pretoria, but made us feel like we were far away from the city. Our game drive with Peter as our guide, was very exciting, seeing rhino and lions. The rooms are comfortable, a king size bed and air conditioning for those warm South African summer days. Every room has its own personal viewing deck with a view of the wildlife coming to drink at the lodge dam of which was plentiful. The giraffe bending down to quench its thirst was a personal high-light. Gunther was a knowledgeable field guide on our many game drives ensuring that all guests receive personal attention. We stayed in cabin 1 which is the closest to the water hole and had the fortunate opportunity to see much variety of game while sitting and relaxing on the wooden deck.
