The rooms are so clean and spacious, you feel like you have your own little home for the weekend. Gunther took us on an afternoon game drive which was incredible, we got so close to the animals and we learnt so much, Gunther knows everything about every animal. Anita is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. Will definitely be back soon.

The view from our chalet on the water holes was a wonderful experience as a lot of animals came for a drink as we sat on our veranda.
Not to mention the quietness and peacefulness that is so important when staying in the bush.

We stayed in cabin 1 which is the closet to the water hole and had the fortunate opportunity to see so much game while sitting and relaxing on the wooden deck. Their is also a pool in the lodge to cool off from those hot days. The room… read more was clean, tidy and cosy, with everything you need for a winter bush weekend getaway. They had an awesome braai and firepit area per unit with was really private and lovely to enjoy a braai and relaxing with marsh-mellows in the evening. You can also go on a game drive with Abendruhe Lodge, or buy a permit to go in your own 4×4. We have a little one so we opted to go on our own and had a lovely picnic along the way. There is a watering whole right in front of where we stayed and when we arrived there were many wildebeest in front of our room. I would definitely recommend staying there and am sure my family will be back! More
