The lodges overlook the game reserve with a watering hole where plenty of animals came to visit. The couple that own the lodges are the nicest most helpful people.
We went on 2 game drives and Gunter is so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals we learnt so much and seen some amazing animals including a mum and 6 cheetah cubs!! everything is well organised, in the early morning drive on our stop off we even had home made muffins and coffee! Such an amazing place and people, we only wish we had time to stay longer. Highly recommend!!

Their cabins are lovely in terms of space, facilities and cleanliness and the sparkling swimming pool with help yourself ‘honesty bar’ are great for relaxing from the heat. The early morning game drive with Gunter was really interesting and is strongly recommended for anyone keen to learn about local nature. Anita’s muffins are a delicious bonus!

The unit is very neat and tidy with everything you need away from home. Simply loved Gunter’s photos of animals taken in the reserve that adorns the wood panel walls. This lends a nice touch to this serene place in the bush. Loved the wide open view from the well sized patio. Anita and Gunter run superb establishment, and we’ll definitely be back.

  If you don’t like crowds and the noise that goes with it, this secluded lodge is the place to go. Only four chalets inside a safe, fenced yard with fantastic view from each chalet onto two water-holes. One can sit on your veranda and wait for the big 5 or other game and birds to stroll or fly by. The chalets are excellent with attention given to the finest detail. Going on a game-drive on an open game-view 4×4 on private routes that visitors may not travel on their own and listening to and learning from Günter, a registered guide and one owner, is a must! His wife Anita is co-owner and as a team they pay attention to the finest detail on the property.
