We stayed in the Loft Cabin and enjoyed the air-conditioning, good quality beds, pillows and linen. Our cabin was serviced everyday by the friendly staff. Our daughter and son in law went on the game drive. They enjoyed it and were impressed by Gunther’s knowledge of the bush and the animals. God willing, Abendruhe Lodge will definitely see us again. The hosts are incredible people and when you leave this beautiful lodge you leave with a new friendship formed. Gunther & Anita were amazing and were always standing ready to assist when the need arise. Beautiful clean premises with a water hole that attracts plentiful game. We had a wonderful time around our private boma, spending quality time with my family and dear friends. The lions roaring our last morning were the cherry on the cake. We will definitely be back.

It is secluded and you really feel like you are the only people there. Perfect to reconnect as a family. The lodge is clean, and the cabins are equipped with everything you need and necessary comforts (electric blankets, aircon). We also enjoyed our game drive with Gunter, even though we never got to see that many animals it was still fun to be out in the "wild" and the kids enjoyed the snack break in the bush. Our stay was absolutely pleasant and we will surely be going back there again. The owners are friendly, welcoming and ready to assist with any request.
