The lodges overlook the game reserve with a watering hole where plenty of animals came to visit. The couple that own the lodges are the nicest most helpful people.
We went on 2 game drives and Gunter is so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals we learnt so much and seen some amazing animals including a mum and 6 cheetah cubs!! everything is well organised, in the early morning drive on our stop off we even had home made muffins and coffee! Such an amazing place and people, we only wish we had time to stay longer. Highly recommend!!

They had an awesome braai and firepit area per unit with was really private and lovely to enjoy a braai and relaxing with marsh-mellows in the evening. You can also go on a game drive with Abendruhe Lodge, or buy a permit to go in your own 4×4. We have a little one so we opted to go on our own and had a lovely picnic along the way. There is a watering whole right in front of where we stayed and when we arrived there were many wildebeest in front of our room. I would definitely recommend staying there and am sure my family will be back! More
