The Cabins… read more were beautiful and attention to detail was amazing, views of the waterhole and bush at your doorstep, their honesty bar was very well stocked with beverages, wood & ice – You didn’t need anything.

Went on a magnificent game drive with Gunther who spoilt us with Elephant and a Serval as well as his knowledge of the bush was fantastic.

We will definitely be back!

The game drive given by Gunter was fantastic….it was great to have such a knowledgeable and interesting guide.
Anita and Gunter were so attentive throughout our visit.
We enjoyed the beautiful waterhole from the comfort of our cabin where we saw many animals. The swimming pool and open bar were great to chill out.
All this and the reasonable prices made our visit memorable!

  Our stay at Abendruhe was amazing. In spite of the cold we were very cozy and comfortable inside and all we needed was provided for. The sunsets from the patio… read more were awesome as was the game passing by the waterhole, the birds coming to visit and the peace of the bush taking over. We were blessed with incredible animal sightings too and really enjoyed everything…from the trees to the new vistas around every corner

  My family and I recently returned from 4 days at Abendruhe Lodge. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Anita and Gunter have thought of everything to… read more make you feel like you are at a home away from home. You can stay connected with the wifi or disconnect from it all and just enjoy nature. We spent hours at the pool relaxing and watching the animals across the fence. A game drive with Gunter is a must as you are guaranteed to learn something new. We will definitely be back.
