They had an awesome braai and firepit area per unit with was really private and lovely to enjoy a braai and relaxing with marsh-mellows in the evening. You can also go on a game drive with Abendruhe Lodge, or buy a permit to go in your own 4×4. We have a little one so we opted to go on our own and had a lovely picnic along the way. There is a watering whole right in front of where we stayed and when we arrived there were many wildebeest in front of our room. Only four chalets inside a safe, fenced yard with fantastic view from each chalet onto two water-holes. One can sit on your veranda and wait for the big 5 or other game and birds to stroll or fly by. The chalets are excellent with attention given to the finest detail. Going on a game-drive on an open game-view 4×4 on private routes that visitors may not travel on their own and listening to and learning from Günter, a registered guide and one owner, is a must! His wife Anita is co-owner and as a team they pay attention to the finest detail on the property. Anita and Gunter were so attentive throughout our visit.
We enjoyed the beautiful waterhole from the comfort of our cabin where we saw many animals. The swimming pool and open bar were great to chill out.
All this and the reasonable prices made our visit memorable!
