  If you don’t like crowds and the noise that goes with it, this secluded lodge is the place to go. Only four chalets inside a safe, fenced yard with fantastic view from each chalet onto two water-holes. One can sit on your veranda and wait for the big 5 or other game and birds to stroll or fly by. The chalets are excellent with attention given to the finest detail. Going on a game-drive on an open game-view 4×4 on private routes that visitors may not travel on their own and listening to and learning from Günter, a registered guide and one owner, is a must! His wife Anita is co-owner and as a team they pay attention to the finest detail on the property.   5 Star Experience  – Abendruhe Lodge in Dinokeng Game Reserve is the perfect out of town getaway. The hosts Anita and Gunter have beautifully designed cabins that are situated in a peaceful scenic area… read more and their attention to detail is amazing. We really appreciated the book in the cabin with restaurant and activities suggestions. We went to a couple of the restaurants in the area and loved them. Next time we will definitely do the game drive with Günter as it looks like a worthwhile experience. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the incredible memories. A five-star recommendation for anyone planning a trip on the Dinokeng area.

  Very well maintained units. Beds are good quality. Some accommodation resorts let you long for your bed at home, but not here.
