What an awesome week we had. You both went out of your way to make us welcome, even had welcoming board with our… read more names on when we arrived. The chalets very comfortable and we had an absolute treat when sitting on the porch. Chalet close to fence and on a day, three giraffes, wildebeest, Eland, Kudu, Impala and Zebra were feeding just beyond the fence. Although we did not see the big five while on game drive, we did see Cheetah and five cubs. Our chalet was serviced not by one, but four cleaners who were very efficient and friendly. All in all, we had a lovely time at Abendruhe and can’t wait to go back again. Thank you very much. More

Cabins are… read more well equipped and the only thing you need to bring is your food and swim towels. There is even a water cooler. All braai utensils and more are available. Did I mention peacefull sleep ? The pool are a welcome cool down extra, with lovely loungers with thick cushions. Ice and wood are always available, This is just a awesome place with Anita and Gunther taking the extra mile to make the guest feel welcome. Thank you for the surprise game drive on Sunday. And the Black Renoster sighting was special. I forgot to mention the freshly baked muffins that Anita bakes 4h00 every morning for the game drive. Gunter is a excellent game ranger and host. More

Pleasant hosts who treat you like family going the extra mile, great curtains to ensure darkness for good night’s rest, June is a… read more great time of year with mild weather and the cabin handles the temperatures well, Game drive was wonderful with 5-star snacks added, service not too early and thorough but fast, pampering luxuries just wonderful, linen crisp, interior brand new & neat: perfection indeed, emails & WhatsApp for excellent communication, useful info given in a leather bound booklet, Gunter’s gorgeous photos on canvas creates an authentic atmosphere, I enjoyed the best lighting by many spot lights in the roof, cupboard & mirrors, gas stove helps during load shedding, chairs & grill chef for braai on the patio is 5-star! Money well spent! Memories galore! Will be back! More

We had a wonderful bush break, a very short distance from Pretoria, but made us feel like we were far away from the city. Our game drive with Peter as our guide, was very exciting, seeing rhino and lions. We can recommend this to anyone, the accommodation was outstanding, the hosts were very friendly and we saw lots of animals.
