We spent hours at the pool relaxing and watching the animals across the fence. A game drive with Gunter is a must as you are guaranteed to learn something new. We will definitely be back. The Cabins… read more were beautiful and attention to detail was amazing, views of the waterhole and bush at your doorstep, their honesty bar was very well stocked with beverages, wood & ice – You didn’t need anything.

Went on a magnificent game drive with Gunther who spoilt us with Elephant and a Serval as well as his knowledge of the bush was fantastic.

It is secluded and you really feel like you are the only people there. Perfect to reconnect as a family. The lodge is clean, and the cabins are equipped with everything you need and necessary comforts (electric blankets, aircon). We also enjoyed our game drive with Gunter, even though we never got to see that many animals it was still fun to be out in the "wild" and the kids enjoyed the snack break in the bush. Our stay was absolutely pleasant and we will surely be going back there again. The owners are friendly, welcoming and ready to assist with any request.

Anita &… read more Gunter, the hosts, are extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable about the reserve and its wildlife. Their cabins are lovely in terms of space, facilities and cleanliness and the sparkling swimming pool with help yourself ‘honesty bar’ are great for relaxing from the heat. The early morning game drive with Gunter was really interesting and is strongly recommended for anyone keen to learn about local nature. Anita’s muffins are a delicious bonus!
We’ll certainly be back some day.
