We stayed in the Loft Cabin and enjoyed the air-conditioning, good quality beds, pillows and linen. Our cabin was serviced everyday by the friendly staff. Our daughter and son in law went on the game drive. They enjoyed it and were impressed by Gunther’s knowledge of the bush and the animals. God willing, Abendruhe Lodge will definitely see us again. The view from our chalet on the water holes was a wonderful experience as a lot of animals came for a drink as we sat on our veranda.
Not to mention the quietness and peacefulness that is so important when staying in the bush.

We did both a morning and late afternoon drive with Gunther and would highly recommend his services. Plus we got to see his lodge, Abendruhe, with his wife, Anita, showing us one of the wooden cabins. We plan to book a stay for later this year especially as each cabin offers a deck overlooking a waterhole. Thank you Gunther for the fabulous game drives!
