Anita &… read more Gunter, the hosts, are extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable about the reserve and its wildlife. Their cabins are lovely in terms of space, facilities and cleanliness and the sparkling swimming pool with help yourself ‘honesty bar’ are great for relaxing from the heat. The early morning game drive with Gunter was really interesting and is strongly recommended for anyone keen to learn about local nature. Anita’s muffins are a delicious bonus!
We’ll certainly be back some day.

The lodges overlook the game reserve with a watering hole where plenty of animals came to visit. The couple that own the lodges are the nicest most helpful people.
We went on 2 game drives and Gunter is so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals we learnt so much and seen some amazing animals including a mum and 6 cheetah cubs!! everything is well organised, in the early morning drive on our stop off we even had home made muffins and coffee! Such an amazing place and people, we only wish we had time to stay longer. Highly recommend!!

The rooms are so clean and spacious, you feel like you have your own little home for the weekend. Gunther took us on an afternoon game drive which was incredible, we got so close to the animals and we learnt so much, Gunther knows everything about every animal. Anita is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. Will definitely be back soon.

The bar and pool is lovely for having a drink with friends as you view the late afternoon skies of the African bushveld.
