The cabin is well fitted, with light switches at the right spots… read more (two for the main light: in room and next to bed), etc. The view is wonderful, it’s winter now so there were no leaves on the bushes between us and the watering hole, we could see wildlife passing by to lick the salt block and drink some water.

We did one great game drive with Gunter, and they set up a 2nd one for us with a guide from a different lodge since they were fully booked. Loved the freshly baked all bran muffin during the coffee break.

Abendruhe is a great place with great owners to stay at while at Dinokeng.

Only four chalets inside a safe, fenced yard with fantastic view from each chalet onto two water-holes. One can sit on your veranda and wait for the big 5 or other game and birds to stroll or fly by. The chalets are excellent with attention given to the finest detail. Going on a game-drive on an open game-view 4×4 on private routes that visitors may not travel on their own and listening to and learning from Günter, a registered guide and one owner, is a must! His wife Anita is co-owner and as a team they pay attention to the finest detail on the property.
